Chance The Rapper Finally Met Kanye West

Thousands of festival-goers were excited to see Chance the Rapper perform at Made in America in Los Angeles on Sunday. But they weren't the only ones who got to get their fan on.

Despite hailing from the same city as Kanye West and citing him as a major influence, Chano had yet to meet Yeezy. Until Sunday.

'Anyone who knows me knows how big of a moment this was for me,' the 21-year-old wrote in a caption of a picture of him and 'Ye on Instagram on Monday (September 1). 'I've been his biggest fan since 04 and I'm pretty sure I'm still his #1 fan. Thanks to J for hookin it up. Thanks to Gizmo for all the good luck yesterday. #IMetKanye.'

Chance also hung out with Aziz Ansari backstage, which, based on facial expressions alone, seemed like more fun than the Kanye encounter. We're guessing they were both pretty excellent, though.

Kim Kardashian may have gotten a hair makeover. Though she's tricked her fans in the past, posting photos of her new 'blonde' self only to later reveal her hair was a wig, it would appear Kim really did change up her 'do this time. But whether it's an actual cut or she had just removed her hair extensions remains to be seen.

The reality star, 33, posted a photo to her Instagram account August 30, writing: 'New hair cut alert #shorter #JenAtkin.'

For comparison's sake, here's Kim just six days prior at the MTV Video Music Awards:

It's of little wonder Kim is drawing attention to her famous tresses right now. The day before her cut, Women's Wear Daily published a piece about the Kardashian sisters' upcoming hair product line, under the headline 'The color of Money.' The Kardashian 'hair tools and styling products' are set to hit shelves in 2015.

Jay Z's Made In America Festival finishes up on Sunday in two locations: Philadelphia and Los Angeles. Kanye West flew across the country to play L.A. after headlining Saturday night's Philly show.

This is the third year of the festival, but the first time that Los Angeles is in the mix. Jay announced the new location in April.

'I love that the festival will be in the middle of the city. Not too far away. No disrespect to any other festival,' Hova said.

But the L.A. portion has come under fire very recently, with allegations that mayor Eric Garcetti circumvented city laws to make the event happen in less than a year.

Then, there's the conflict of interest with Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino-who has a national reputation as a major Democrat booster-and Live Nation city lobbyist Josh Perttula, who used to serve as an adviser to Garcetti's transition team.

Through all this, Garcetti has remained a staunch supporter of the event.

'We're at the crossroads of the world here in L.A.,' he told the media on Thursday. 'What's important is that Los Angeles figure out a way to get to 'Yes.' There's a million ways to say no, there will always be a million things to consider - that's not a reason to not celebrate.'

No joke here. Kanye West admitted to the crowd during a series of rants at the Made in America festival in Philadelphia on Saturday, Aug. 30, that he confronted comedian Jay Pharoah after his spoof at the 2014 MTV VMAs.

'They want to make a joke out of how hard we work,' Kim Kardashian's husband said while on stage at the Jay Z hosted event referring to Pharoah and one of South Park's recent spoofs. 'It's fine and all funny and everything, but don't distract from our vision. It's not a joke what we do up here. This music that we do is not a joke. What we do culturally is not a joke.'

The rapper went on to tell the crowd that he called Pharoah after the SNL actor's skit went down at the Aug. 24 award show. 'I called Jay Pharoah right after the MTV awards,' West said. 'I said, 'I appreciate your show, but let me tell you about my story. Let me tell you about what I went through to get to that position' ... So we ain't gonna have no black comedians going onstage spoofing the people that's working hard, and helping the next man out.'

North Wes t's dad's rant also included his relationship with Kardashian.

'For me to be in a very publicized interracial relationship is not a joke,' he told the crowd of his new marriage. 'It's something that should be treated with respect cause we're all in this together.'

Kim Kardashian gave Rita Ora the cold shoulder at the VMAs last Sunday -- refusing to sit near her -- and sources close to the family say it's because Kim blames her for screwing with Rob Kardashian's head.We're told Kim arrived at the awards show and discovered her seat was just a couple away from Ora's.
