Kim Kardashian may be the last person you'd expect to see headlining a tech conference. But the reality star took the stage at Recode's Code Mobile conference Monday in Half Moon Bay to talk mobile tech trends.
During her 30-minute conversation with Recode cofounder Kara Swisher, Kardashian spoke about her love of BlackBerry, the challenges of being a reality star and how she manages her social media presence.
Here are five things we learned about her Monday:
She still uses BlackBerry
Not only does Kardashian still use a six-year-old BlackBerry Bold (only for email; she uses an iPhone for social media), she buys them in bulk on eBay- just in case the world's supply runs out. Kardashian even hinted that she may consider becoming financially involved with the company.

Reality TV is harder than it looks
Being on a reality show isn't easy. Kardashian said during the half of the year when she's filming, her days begin at 6 a.m. and don't end until 9 p.m. That, she said, is hard work and deserves respect.
Instagram is her favorite social network - but she won't post 4 selfies in a row.
Kardashian is known for the legions of followers across all her accounts but her favorite social media platform, she said, is Instagram. Which isn't surprising considering she broke the record for most-liked photo ever earlier this year. As for Snapchat, she doesn't have the time for that.
Kardashian also said she abides by a three-image rule: she won't post more than three photos of herself at any one time, to avoid oversaturation.
Her first job involved working for Paris Hilton
Before he reality TV days, one of Kardashian's first gigs was a closet-organizing service owned by eBay - and one of her clients was Paris Hilton.

We'll probably see more Kardashian apps
On the subject of the viral success of her game, Kim Kardashian Hollywood, the reality star said she envisions having a 'long career in mobile' and hinted that more games are in the works.
While she didn't answer questions about how much money the game has made (it's free to play but relies heavily on in-app purchases), earlier reports have suggested the game could net as much as $200 million this year alone.
