Kim Kardashian takes the wheel as she and Kanye West enjoy some alone time ...

She's been the dutiful fiancée, accompanying Kanye West on tour over the past few months but no doubt Kim Kardashian is happy to be back in Los Angeles.

The 33-year-old reality TV star cheered the rapper on at his Anaheim concert on Friday night, with her mother Kris Jenner for company, but on Saturday she and West enjoyed some well-deserved alone time.

No doubt the Bound 2 hitmaker was exhausted by his touring schedule and let his lady do the driving as they spent the day together in LA.

It's not clear if their baby daughter North was with the couple as they drove around in Kim's distinctive black Range Rover but the tot has been on tour with her parents despite being just five months old.

On Friday Kim was spotted playing with what looked like a doll of herself as she enjoyed Kanye's concert.

The couple are happier than ever following Kanye's proposal on Kim's birthday on October 21.

Kanye popped the question at the AT&T Park baseball park in San Francisco.

The hip hop star first serenaded the mother of his child with a 50 piece orchestra.

The band struck up the romantic ballad Young And Beautiful from film The Great Gatsby by songstress Lana Del Rey, followed by his own hit with Keri Hilson and Ne-Yo, Knock You Down.

The 36-year-old star then arranged for the words 'PLEEESE MARRY MEEE!!!' to flash up on the giant scoreboard.

The proposal left Kim speechless, for once.

'She was shocked and couldn't speak after,' a source at the scene told People magazine. 'Everyone had mascara running down their faces from tears.'

After Kim said yes, Kanye slipped the 15 carat diamond ring onto her finger as fireworks exploded in the sky as the rest of her family ran out of the dugouts to surprise her.

And Kim is clearly still overcome by the romantic event, posting a picture of the engagement on her Instagram page just last week with the caption '#FlashBackFriday #BestDayEver #Engagement (sic).'

There has been much speculation about what the couple who have everything will get each other this Christmas.

It will be an extra special holiday for the pair as it marks their first since both daughter North's birth and their engagement.

'He really is the most romantic, sweetest person I've ever met in my entire life,' Kim, 34, recently told E! News, and when asked if they would elope this holiday season, she didn't rule it out.

'No, not that I know of, but he is a kind of random, spur-of-the-moment type of guy... so you never know.'
