Kim Kardashian in Vogue: Behind the Secret Photoshoot

With the world still buzzing over the Kim Kardashian Vogue issue, one question remains:

How did she and Kanye West pull that off? How did they keep the pictorial a secret until photos from the issue went online?!?

'Only a very small number of people were told it was happening, and all of them were sworn to secrecy,' an insider tells Us Weekly.

The wedding-themed shoot took place over two days, somewhere around Los Angeles, in late January or early February.

'They took some photos in the plane but didn't fly anywhere,' the source added. 'There are lots of photos of Kim in different kinds of white wedding-like dresses.'

Kardashian, meanwhile, could not be happier with the results.

'Kim has wanted this for so long, she is beyond happy,' the family friend concluded. 'She's ignoring all the negative backlash. She doesn't listen to what other people think.'

Sarah Michelle Gellar, who said she is canceling her Vogue subscription after seeing the spread. You can't really blame her, can you?
