Kim Kardashian Reveals When Kanye West Changes North West's Diapers

Kim Kardashian revealed on her Jan. 17 appearance on 'Ellen' that Kanye West is just like a lot of new dads: he's definitely not into the whole diaper-changing deal, but she prefers it that way! She said he will help out when it's 'an emergency,' but she likes the 'bonding time' she has with baby North on the changing table!

Kim Kardashian revealed that Kanye West isn't exactly a ' diaper kind of guy,' but there is one exception for when he'll swoop in and change their daughter North West's diapers: when absolutely necessary. Kim told Ellen host Ellen DeGeneres that there are so many other ways Kanye's such a doting, hands-on dad, but he's not a fan of diaper duty.

Kim explained that Kanye's 'not a diaper kind of guy, and that's okay' with her.

Ellen joked back at her claim, explaining that she never thought Kanye was a fan of diapers. 'No, I don't mean does he wear them. Does he change them?' Ellen joked, to which Kim maintained: 'No he's not a diaper-changing kind of guy.'

There is one time that Kanye will step in for a quick diaper change, Kim explained. 'He would if it's an emergency,' she revealed, before explaining that she doesn't really want him to anyway, because she uses diaper-changing as a time to bond with North. 'I love that time. I know it sounds crazy, but I love my time with her when she's on the changing table. She tries to talk so much and I really enjoy that bonding time when I'm with her.'

Despite the infrequency of pitching in to help change diapers, Kim said that Kanye just can't get enough bonding time with his little girl and hates being away from her.

'He is honestly the most amazing dad,' Kim said of Kanye. 'He loves her so much. He just left to go out of town, so I send him a picture and video every day. He's like, 'She grew up so much!' and I'm like, 'Babe, it's been one day. You haven't seen her in a day. Not a lot has changed.' But he really is a hands-on dad.'
