Kim Kardashian Treats Kanye West 'Like It's His Birthday Every Day'

Swooning newlywed Kim Kardashian is convinced - convinced! - that the honeymoon phase of her (third) marriage will never end.

And she's concocted the perfect plan to ensure her years ahead with new groom Kanye West will be filled with nothing but hearts and roses.

'I try to treat him like it's his birthday every single day,' she told the U.K.'s MailOnline this week. 'I think we'll always be like that.'

The pair, who lavishly tied the knot on May 24 in Florence, are apparently staying true to their word for now, and have taken turns gushing over one another this week while in France for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

'I can't be with any girl but Kim because that's the girl I look at her pictures the most, I get turned on the most,' West said at the event Tuesday.

Asked to respond to the compliment, Kardashian, 33, replied: 'It makes me blush every time. He's so sweet ... He really speaks from the heart and I love that he thinks that way about me, and I feel the same about him.'

Another thing Kardashian loves about her new husband? His ability to surprise her. Kardashian told the MailOnline she did not know opera legend Andrea Bocelli would sing at their wedding until she walked down the aisle.

'I got up the altar and didn't even see him standing there. And I turned around when my sisters were helping me fix my veil, and I did a double take - I thought it was a CD of him singing,' she says. 'The fact that he can surprise me is really good.'

It has been a whirlwind few weeks for the newlyweds. They first embarked on a surprisingly low-key honeymoon to Ireland and Prague - interrupted for four days while West tweaked their Instagram-winning wedding photo because of 'how important Kim is to the Internet' - and later jetted to Mexico to celebrate West's 37th birthday.

On Sunday, they celebrated another important birthday - daughter North's first - at a New York City children's museum.

If all that sounds enviably exhausting, well, it is. Yet Kardashian says their connection makes every day special.

'We always try to make life as fun and enjoyable as possible,' she said. 'We do travel, and work really hard when we're together - and even when we're apart, we're always on the phone 24/7 - just trying to make that time as memorable as possible.'
