Kanye West was unusually cheerful as he strolled through the airport in San Francisco.

For at the end of the lane waited his beloved wife Kim Kardashian, 33, and their daughter North, 13 months, as they arrived to the city by the bay amidst a ton of luggage.

Kanye was gracious in every way, checking the bags and ushering his recent bride to a waiting vehicle at the curb.

The 37-year-old Yeezus star was brightly decked out as well in a yellow shirt, shiny green trousers, camouflage hat and scarf, and tan boots.

Gone was the morose expression that's become his trademark as he flashed a toothy smile at fellow travelers.

Kim wore the same outfit she'd been seen in earlier that day ahead of the Los Angeles-to-San Francisco flight - tight light blue jeans, a T-shirt promoting the rock band Chicago and nude heels.

Her best accessory was of course the wide-eyed child in her arms who sported a denim outfit, stud earrings and a slick 'do all her own.

After the plane ride, the mother-of-one still managed to look amazing as she squeezed in some shopping soon after her arrival to the bay city, presumably leaving North in the capable hands of a caregiver.

Kim's hair was sleek and shining as it cascaded over her shoulders and she wore natural-toned make-up.

Kim is in town to support Kanye, who is performing at the Golden Gate Park Outside Lands Festival on Friday.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star recently quipped that her daughter recently took her first steps and is already running 'a full marathon.'

The raven-haired beauty told E! News: 'If we're outside on the grass, it's like a full marathon. She'll run - she'll do whatever. Inside, she's just a little more cautious. She wants you to hold her hand, or she has this little shopping cart that she likes to walk around.'

Kim announced her daughter had started walking last month on her Instagram page, posting an cute picture of her kissing the little girl, who was wrapped in a yellow towel.
