Kim Kardashian: Letting Bruce Jenner Give You Away Is The Right Decision

Good for you, Kim K! Though Bruce has recently been cast out from his own family, Kim went on the record on Oct. 25 and said that stepdad or not, he would be the man to walk her down the aisle when she marries Kanye West.

No matter what the legal documents say, Kim Kardashian seems determined to always treat Bruce Jenner like family. I couldn't be prouder of how Kim is standing up for what she believes, even as her mother Kris Jenner reportedly tries to keep Bruce out of her wedding with Kanye West.

Kim Kardashian Makes The Right Choice By Giving Bruce Jenner Wedding Nod

Though Kim said before her birthday party on Oct. 25 that Kanye would be planning most of the wedding, she also stated that the one thing that was non-negotiable was who would be giving her away, in an interview with People. And just like the last time Kim got married, Bruce is going to be the guy doing the honors.

Kim's confirmation comes after a report claimed that Kim wanted to walk the aisle solo. Not because she is upset with Bruce for splitting with Kris, but because she reportedly felt like it wasn't necessary. 'It's her third wedding and being 33, she feels silly having someone give her away,' a source told Radar Online.

Thankfully, Kim debunked that theory, or at least got over her self-consciousness.

Because Bruce has been Kim's stepfather for over 20 years, more than half of her life. He's been there for her before, and he should be there for her on one of the biggest days of her life. Even if it's Kim's third wedding, that doesn't make it any less special. If anything, for the first time it really seems like Kim has found her soul mate in Kanye West.

So now, more than ever, Bruce should be there giving Kim away for (hopefully) the last time.

Kim Kardashian Going Against Kris Jenner's Wishes

What's more, Kim is may even be going against the momager's wishes. Kris reportedly wanted Rob Kardashian to do the honors, a source told Mail Online. Kris pretty much always gets her way in all Kardashian matters, so shoving this in her face is pretty awesome, and it's just proof how strongly Kim feels about it.

Gotta say - I love the passion and power Kanye has instilled in Kimmy. She's making all the right choices right now, and she's got so much to look forward to.
