'Keeping Up With the Kardashians': Kim Kardashian gives birth to baby North West

Kim Kardashian gave birth to baby North West in Sunday (Oct. 27) night's all-new episode of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians.' So how much of the infamous birth did we see in 'All Signs Point to North?'

Surprisingly, not much. For a family that has built its brand on showing all aspects of their life on camera, the actual birth was surprisingly not filmed at all. The before was shown, and we saw Kim a few days after North entered the world, but Kanye West and North were never seen on camera. The only glimpse we got of the new baby was via the Instagram pic Kim shared after North was born.

So what did we see pre-baby? Turns out, Kim and Kanye had briefly considered naming the baby North, with no last name. Thank goodness her family convinced her otherwise because North West is bad enough. North would have been too insufferable.

Since Kim had preeclampsia and toxemia -- which means her high blood pressure was causing her liver to shut down -- the only way to get rid of it was to deliver the baby ... five weeks early. Kanye got on a plane to get there, and it landed right as Kim started to deliver. And no surprise here, she had her full hair and makeup all glammed up.

Right as Kim was about to deliver the baby, the cameras stopped rolling. They didn't actually show the birth -- instead, the show had Khloe Kardashian regale Bruce Jenner with the story afterwards. We didn't see Kim for a while after the birth, so the show focused on how because the baby was delivered five weeks early, Kris Jenner needed to get the entire nursery ready in just 24 hours.

When Kim finally did go home from the hospital, we still didn't see North, but we did get to see Kim talk about being a new mother and how Kanye doesn't want North on the show. Daddy and baby's lives will both stay private and will not be shown on the series. Kim also told Khloe how North is her best friend, and she instantly fell in love with her.

Other notable events in the episode:

-- Bruce got wasted in Vegas with his new best friend, comedian Jeff Dunham, but his sons told him he's scaring off his new friend. They gave him a lesson on playing hard to get, but Jeff told him his sons are overreacting and acting like girls. It's a real bromance.

-- Scott Disick and Khloe made friends with a hooker on the street, and it reminded her of when her father used to take all the siblings to lesser fortunate areas of town to help out. She then goes to a women's shelter to volunteer.

'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on E!.
