, self-proclaimed musical genius, ingeniously integrated the Will Ferrell movie Step Brothers into his latest GQ interview. At least Kanye recognizes the film as arguably one of the greatest comedy movies of all time. So we have to ask: Did they just become best friends?
See what we did there? In any case, the hip-hop mogul can be seen gracing the cover of GQ's August issue and that's sparked something in us...a glimmer of hope that perhaps a bromance really does exist between Yeezus himself and Ferrell, the king of comedy.
Let's take a look at the evidence:
1. Kanye uses a quote from Step Brothers to describe his love for Kim. She's his 'dinosaur.'
'You know, God is infectious-God flowing through us and us being little-baby creators and sh*t. But His energy and His love and what He wants us to have as people and the way He wants us to love each other, that is infectious. Like they said in Step Brothers: Never lose your dinosaur. This is the ultimate example of a person never losing his dinosaur. Meaning that even as I grew in cultural awareness and respect and was put higher in the class system in some way for being this musician, I never lost my dinosaur,' said Kanye.
VIDEO: Will Ferrell had a drum off on Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon 2. He says his single 'New Slaves' has the best rap verse of all time, comparing it to Anchorman somehow.
'That song that I do feel is the best rap verse of all time - 'New Slaves.' The second verse. I argue that it's the best rap verse of all time. It's the Coming to America or Anchorman of a verse. You know, it's got the funny sh*t.'
3. West sampled Ferrell's Blades of Glory in his famous hit 'N----s in Paris.'

Quotes from the movie that are sampled in the song include: 'We're gonna skate to one song, and one song only' and the dialogue at 2:22.
Of the experience, Ferrell has said, 'I was completely flattered when they asked if they could sample me into the song...and when I heard it for the first time, I just started to laugh because it felt so surreal. But I really did like the song.'
4. They worked together on Anchorman: The Legend Continues. (Yeezy's cameo starts around 1:19)

Ferrell said of the experience: 'He taught me how to find love in my heart.' Ferrell's costar David Koechner said: 'He taught me I could work a lot harder, because that's what he did-honest to God-on set. When he wasn't on camera, he was working.'
'He's like a whirl of activity,' Ferrell added.

It's decided. They have a beautiful bromance in the making and maybe with Ferrell's quick wit and Kanye's musical talents, something beautiful will come of it. Similar to 'Boats 'N Hoes,' preferably, but we won't get picky. For now, we're perfectly content trying to imagine the two of them on a miniature golf date. Just process that one.
