Anna Wintour's decision to put Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the cover of Vogue magazine's April edition has sparked more than controversy - it's triggered a lawsuit.
Ricky Spicer, a one time child soul singer from Ohio, sued Vogue's publisher, Condé Nast Entertainment, for using his voice on the magazine's website in a video about the cover shot.
In papers filed Thursday in Manhattan Supreme Court, Spicer says his voice can be heard five times as West's hit single 'Bound 2' is played in the background.
In the video, the music accompanies film showing a lovey dovey team of West and Kardashian, who are due to be married in France next month.
She's in an assortment of lavish white gowns. At one point, she's bouncing their baby girl, North.
'Mr. Spicer's voice is used substantially throughout the video, comprising approximately 44% of the vocals,' according to the lawsuit.
However, the suit says, Condé Nast did not get Spicer's permission to use his voice and it did not compensate him. He is asking for unspecified damages.

The new lawsuit follows one that Spicer, 56, filed in December against West.
In the previous court papers, Spicer said then that he recorded the lyrics when he was the 12-year-old lead singer of a group call The Ponderosa Twins plus One.
He said his voice, used in the background of the same song without his permission, is 'sampled exactly as it was recorded' back in 1970 when his voice was high and Richard Nixon was president.
Spicer was living in the Ohio Boys Town orphanage when he was discovered at a 1969 talent show by music publisher Chuck Brown who persuaded him to join The Ponderosa Twins. He was supposed to be their version of a young Michael Jackson.
There was no immediate comment from Vogue's press office.
