MISSOULA, Mont. -
Several people turned out to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula to learn about their options for health insurance.
The fair is related to the Montana Health Marketplace, with a goal to teach people about health insurance.
Certified counselors were on site, available to answer questions and help people enroll in coverage.
The enrollment fair is in it's second year and a St. Pat's counselor says that when it first began, 20 percent of Montanan's were uninsured.
Now, it's dropped down to 16 percent.
'It's a matter of when and not if something happens if you're going to need health coverage and so when people are healthy, you want them to take the opportunity to educate themselves and select a plan that's going to be the best for them and their families,' said St. Patrick Certified Application Counselor Hollie Timmons.
St. Patrick Hospital will host their next enrollment fair on January 10.
