Keeping up with Kim Kardashian could bring us one step closer to ending AIDS.
The reality star is working with Apple and (RED) in honor of World Aids Day. In the weeks leading up to Dec. 1, users can download 25 games - including Kim Kardashian: Hollywood - with exclusive new content, and Apple will donate the money raised from in-app purchases to the Global Fund. The goal? Eradicating the disease to create the first AIDS-free generation in 30 years.
'Players can show their support by participating in special (RED) events and purchasing exclusive (RED) in-game items like (RED) Beats headphones,' Kardashian said in a statement. 'As a 'thank you' for their support, players can take a (RED) branded selfie with me and share to their social networks! Players can even attend a (RED) fundraiser event in-game. I'm thrilled to be able to support (RED) through Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.
And everyone's favorite momager is also getting in on the action. As part of the special features, Kris Jenner will join her daughter's virtual world to help users climb to the top of the A-list, becoming the first family member to get her own avatar.
Other participating apps include Angry Birds, Garageband, FarmVille 2: Country Escape, Disney Frozen Free Fall, the Ellen DeGeneres-approved Heads Up! and Kitchen Stories Cookbook featuring Mario Batalli and Martha Stewart.
Check out the (RED) app store to get started.
