As battles continue raging in Washington over health care reform, Connecticut's state-based health insurance exchange reports a robust start to its second season of open enrollment.
Last week, Access Health CT, reported that since open enrollment began Nov. 15, more than 11,600 new customers have enrolled through the marketplace.
'It has started very, very aggressively,' said Access Health acting CEO Jim Wadleigh. 'Just over that first weekend, we had a lot of enrollments.'
But even though enrollment is off to a running start, there are lingering doubts about the future of the Affordable Care Act, the sweeping health reform legislation that spawned the exchanges.
