Not many people can say they've gotten a private concert from one of their favorite artists, but Seth Rogen experienced exactly that when Kanye West performed for him and his wife in New York City.
Rogen, 32, told Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show on Monday that he and wife Lauren Miller, who hosted a comedy variety show to benefit Alzhemier's awareness in October, received an impromptu performance from Yeezus after they encountered the rapper in the lobby of a SoHo hotel.
'He's one of my favorite musicians,' Rogen told Stern. 'He's a big comedy fan and he's actually a very cool guy.'
The Interview star, who thought the interaction would be awkward at first, went on to express his love for West's music and said he'd like to hear some of his new material.
Next thing Rogen knew, West, who was featured in this year's most-liked Instagram photo, brought him to his limo, put on some music and started rapping unreleased tracks.
And how does one react in this kind of situation?
'I just kind of gave into the moment,' the actor said, adding that he bobbed his head along to the music.
When West finished the two-hour show, Kim Kardashian's husband asked Rogen for feedback on what he'd just heard.
'He was looking for input,' the recent Saturday Night Live guest said. 'That's what was so amazing.'
Rogen's final word on the concert: 'It's the greatest thing that's ever happened. It was one of the most surreal experiences of my entire life.'
