A new survey finds that increasing numbers of people added health insurance as Obamacare's enrollment period closed last week, HEALTHYINSURANCENEWS.BLOGSPOT.COM reports.

The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index reports that the share of adults without health insurance shrunk from 17.1 percent at the end of 2013 to 15.6 percent in the first quarter, the report says.

Although Gallup's survey numbers don't suggest as rosy a picture as the Obama administration touts, the survey does show an improving trend: the share of Americans without insurance is at its lowest since late 2008, the AP reports.
