The real reason Kanye is postponing Aussie tour

THERE'S bad news for Kanye West fans today with the rapper announcing he's postponing his Australian concerts by four months.

West was meant to bring his Yeezus tour down under in May but he's pushed it back to September.

According to the press release Yeezy won't be making the trip Down Under in a month's time 'due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album'.

But there's speculation that West has moved the gigs because of his upcoming wedding with Kim Kardashian.

Last month People quoted an 'insider' who claimed that the high profile couple will tie the knot in Paris on May 24.

'It won't be a huge wedding,' the source said, 'Around 150 people.'

Fans who have already purchased tickets to his concerts shouldn't worry, all tickets for the previously announced May show dates will be honoured for the new September dates without the need to exchange.

The new Yeezus Tour dates are:

Perth Arena - Friday September 5

Adelaide Entertainment Centre - Sunday September 7

Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne - Tuesday September 9 & Wednesday September 10

Qantas Credit Union Arena, Sydney - Friday September 12 & Saturday September 13

Brisbane Entertainment Centre - Monday September 15

Any ticket holders unable to attend on the rescheduled date must contact Ticketek before 5pm on Wednesday April 30, 2014 to arrange a refund.
