Adrienne Bailon Disses Kim Kardashian: She's Only Famous For Sex Tape

This means war! Adrienne is fighting back after Kim dissed her for kicking brother Rob Kardashian when he was down and dragging the Kardashian name through the mud in a new interview. Now the former Cheetah Girls singer seems to be calling Kim out for rising to fame solely for being 'someone's girlfriend.' Could she be referring to Kim's sex tape with Ray J?!

Adrienne Bailon, 30, kicked her feud with Kim Kardashian, 33, up a notch on July 31, when she took to her Instagram to post a long and pointed message dissing the Keeping Up with the Kardashian s star. Adrienne seems to be criticizing Kim for achieving fame through her sex tape, saying, 'What makes you 'famous' isn't always what you want to be 'labeled' as, or known for.' Ouch!

It's hard to imagine a time when Kim Kardashian wasn't a household name, but before her 2003 sex tape with then-boyfriend Ray J leaked in 2007, she was a virtual unknown. And even though Kim has since found enormous success as a businesswoman, television star and fashion designer, the shocking sex tape still haunts her.

Which is why Adrienne's Instagram post about the difference between being famous and having a career will probably hit a little too close to home for Kim! Here's what Adrienne, 30, said:

Fame and a Career are two different things. I've always had a career. I have been working hard since I was 15 years old. Being someone's 'girlfriend' was never what I wanted to be famous for. What makes you 'famous' isn't always what you want to be 'labeled' as, or know for. If anyone should understand that... it should be you. I also stated in the article that none of this would have stopped me from being in love and being in that relationship. I just would have gone about it differently. You can love someone just as much in private. We all learn from our first loves.

Kim Kardashian Slams Adrienne Bailon On Twitter

As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Adrienne was brutally honest when she opened up to magazine about her troubled relationship with Kim's brother, Rob Kardashian. She even blamed his entire family for hurting her career!

'To be stuck with that Kardashian label, that was so hurtful to me and to my career,' Adrienne said. 'I probably realized that too late-not that it would've affected my decisions in terms of who I dated, but it would've affected my decision to appear on the show.'

Kim and Khloe Kardashian both took to Twitter to defend their brother. Here are Kim's tweets, which clearly led to Adrienne's withering Instagram response:
