INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - There is more help available if you and your family need to sign up for health insurance.

December 15 is the deadline to sign up under the Affordable Care Act to be insured by January 1, 2015.

Enrollment experts are available daily at the Indianapolis Enrollment Center, 4875 W. 56th Street.

Experts will also be available to walk you through the process in different locations across the city over the next few days. One of the locations is the Warren Township Trustees Office on Post Road from 11:00 a.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday.

Help will also be available at the East Washington library branch from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m Thursday.

Experts will be available on Saturday at Christ Church Apostolic on Grandview Drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday and at the Pike library branch from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Help will be available on Monday, December 15, at the E. 38th Street Library branch from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

'We can help you decide what's important to you: is it your premium that's more important? Are you more concerned about your deductible? We can help you focus on what those things are,' said Outreach Coordinator Hope Wynn.

If you plan to go, Wynn said expect to spend least an hour and bring Social Security numbers, immigration documents, employer and income information, and a current health insurance plan if you already have one.

Open enrollment ends February 15.

Federal officials have said changes this year should make the process easier. For one, the application has been cut down from 76 screens to 16. And if you were really enrolling in a plan, a lot of the information should carry over.
