Kanye West Is A Fan Of Newcomer Lorde

Everyone is talking about singer Lorde and her chart-topping song 'Royals.' That includes Kanye West. The 16-year-old singer shares with Rolling Stone that she met the producer/rapper in London when they were both to appear on the talk show 'Later. . . With Jools Holland.'

'He said he liked the messages [in my songs], which was cool,' the New Zealand singer says. 'I was saying to myself, 'Keep cool. This is normal.'' Lorde added that Ye was very friendly,'He's a really mellow dude - super relaxed' and it took everything in her not to groupie out.

She adds, 'He had this big old grill, and I wanted to touch it, but I restrained myself.' Lorde has been heating up the music charts. According to , 'Royals' has surpassed 2 million downloads and is the #1 song in the country this week. The singer coversBillboard magazine and is being dubbed 'The New Queen Of Alternative.'
