With over 15 million Instagram followers a simple 'selfie' can easily become an entire article flooded with a seemingly endless amount of comments. For many celebrities life in the public eye can prove to be a daunting task. However, the newlywed seems to shows no signs of slowing down in the social-realm continuing to capitalize on her immense popularity. On Wednesday the socialite released the trailer for her upcoming video game entitled, Kim Kardashian:Hollywood on her Instagram account.
On Tuesday, Kardashian first posted a picture from the trailer on the social media application. Subsequently announcing the picture as a 'sneak peek from my upcoming project!' Following, the picture Karsdashian announced her video would be available for both Android and iOS next week. A day later the actress/model and reality television star also stated she was 'excited to announce' the project and encouraged her followers to view the trailer.
Many details about the video games plot and development remain unknown. The trailer video backed music and Kardashian's vocals promise to take consumers on 'their own adventure' throughout Hollywood. The 15-second clip begins with the tag line: 'Hey doll.' A typical day in the life of a Kardashian may be the virtual experience a player will have. According to Mirror, allegedly players can choose a celebrity and travel around Hollywood in search of fame. Along their journey players can 'attend glamorous events, join in photo shoots and fall in love.'
Although the television and social media personality is most well-known for her controversy and scandal, Kardashian is steadily making an impact on the business world. The recently married spouse of rapper Kanye West, has owned, and styled a number of clothing lines and fragrances a long with her sister's. The release of Kim Kardashian's Hollywood video game trailer may serve as a stepping stone for more business ventures.
Kardashian's claim to fame began in 2007. After an infamous sex tape from four years earlier with singer and ex boyfriend Ray-J, surfaced and was subsequently leaked to Vivid Video Entertainment. Within a year Kardashian, along with her sister's was offered to star in the reality tv show ' Keeping Up With The Kardashians.' Now a successful model, actress, and business woman there is no telling what Kardashian's next move will be.
Many critics have been quick to write off Kardashian's game before it has even been released. One MTV article referred to the Kim Kardashian's release of the Hollywood simulation trailer as 'finally giving us a taste' of the 'video game that is actually happening' in her life. While some skeptics may view a virtual Kardashian video game as social overkill, this actually is not the first mobile application baring the starlet's name. However for the thousands of fans who have posted comments with positive feedback on her Instagram account, that may be more than enough motivation.
