Kanye West thought of everything on the day he proposed to Kim Kardashian -- the Lorraine Schwartz ring, the San Francisco AT&T Park -- and even knowing that his new fiancee would probably want it all filmed! During a recent radio interview, the rapper explained why he filmed the couple's proposal, despite his plans to take a backseat while Keeping Up With the Kardashians is in production.

'When we got engaged I made sure the show was there [filming] because I felt like that's something that would make her happy,' West, 36, told Hot 97's Angie Martinez on Monday, Nov. 25. 'Regardless of how it was shot, I felt like this is a moment she would like to have and would like to share, and just have that documented. And we could decide later or not if we wanted to air it.' ( TMZ reported on Oct. 31 that the couple is suing YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley for allegedly leaking video of the special moment.)

During the romantic Oct. 21 proposal (on Kardashian's 33rd birthday), the 'Blood on the Leaves' rapper invited the reality star's friends and family to the baseball park and projected a screen message asking her hand in marriage. He also brought in food, fireworks, and an orchestra to entertain the crowd.
West admitted that 'making sacrifices' has made the couple stronger in the long-run, which may be a hint at why the couple is currently mulling over the idea to televise their nuptials.

exclusively reported in its Dec. 2 issue that the parents of 5-month-old North could be filming their wedding in the near future. 'If they choose to film the wedding, it will be filmed by them, not a TV crew,' an insider revealed to Us. 'And they'd sell it to a network.'
A source added that the affair would be 'magnificent,' yet (shockingly enough!) 'on the small side.'
