Kim Kardashian: I Pose 'Practically Naked' for Magazines, So I Have to Be ...

We talked all about Kim Kardashian's supremely confident cupcake-eating skills on the cover of Elle UK's Confidence Issue when the photos came out last week, but now her quotes from the interview have been released - and they're equally discussion-worthy. Read on for the reality star's take on her own body image, why she's keeping cool about leaked nudes and her supermodel sister.

First of all, Kardashian had to address those famous curves. And though she's more than happy to show them off now, that wasn't always the case. 'I grew up when the body to have was the tall, slim, supermodel one, like Cindy Crawford's. No one looked like me,' she says in the magazine. 'It's good to break the mold and recreate one. I'm an Armenian girl, I have shape, and it turned out people liked that. That makes me feel good about myself and about other women for being so supportive. I am a confident woman, but I didn't just arrive confident - it has built over the years.'

Some of that confidence came from her father, Robert Kardashian, who saw her struggling with her body in her teens and wrote her a letter. 'Every night I would sit in the bath and cry,' she says. 'He told me I had a body not many girls have, that later it would lead to attention from men, but that the most important thing was that I was a wonderful girl and I had to understand my self worth.'

Not that all the attention she's gotten has been positive - but she's 'realistic' about the leaked nude photos of herself on the internet. 'I'm on covers of magazines practically naked, so I can't go crazy about it,' she says. 'The only choice I can make is to not let it shake me up.'

But despite the huge fame Kardashian has achieved on those magazine covers, red carpets and more, the star says she sees another member of her family earning even more attention: Sister Kendall Jenner ( who's walking in Chanel's Salzburg show today). 'I think she will be a huge star,' she says. 'I definitely think she will be bigger than I have ever been.'
