Her fiancé Kanye West has been stringent in his attempts to make her style choices classier and Kim Kardashian was all covered up on a family dinner date in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

However, her mother Kris Jenner could do with some help from Kanye as she let the side down in a low cut clingy black dress which gave a glimpse of her bra.

Joining the 58-year-old matriarch and Kim, 33, at Fins restaurant for some filming on Keeping up with the Kardashians, was Khloe Kardashian, 29, who opted for a more casual look.

Kim was dressed in pedal pushers with a black high necked top, and a glimpse of her toned stomach was on show.

She added a large black coat and finished the look with a pair of bedazzled high heeled sandals as she made her way into the restaurant.

Kim's recently dyed dark hair was loose around her face and she was followed by cameramen and crew from the family's reality TV show.

Kim's laid back look was the polar opposites of her mother Kris, who dressed up for dinner in a figure hugging outfit.

The clinging black dress went to her knee and was long sleeved but dipped so low in front that her bra was visible underneath.

Large hoop earrings, a clutch bag, sunglasses and heels completed Kris' attention seeking look. Meanwhile, Khloe was the most casual of all.

She showed off her long, lean legs in denim hotpants and wore a long sleeved top with a shirt tied around her waist.

Khloe's Ombre hair flowed in loose waves around her shoulders and the star looked fit and happy following her split from husband Lamar Odom.

While brunette Kim looked stunning, on Monday she admitted she regretted ditching the blonde locks she has been sporting since last year.

Taking to her Mobio INsider website on Monday, the reality TV favourite blogged that she was rethinking her decision and asked fans for their opinion on her follicle faux pas.

'I'm so annoyed I dyed my hair dark! I wanted to switch it up since I feel everyone went light, and we started filming a new season of Keeping Up With the Kardashian, so wanted a fresh look (sic),' she ranted. 'BUT now I am missing my light hair! HELP!!! What do I do? Go light again or stay dark and get used to it?'

The star's fans were quick to share their expertise, almost unanimously agreeing that she looks better with dark tresses.

George Papanikolas, the hairstylist responsible for lightening Kim's locks back in September, told Us Weekly at the time that she was heavily influenced by those around her to make the change.

'I think she wanted to go blonde this time because she wanted a big change,' he explained. 'It was Kim's idea to go blonde, but everyone around her had some influence - including myself.'
